Milo absolutely L.O.V.E.S the shower. It is the funniest thing. If someone is in the shower; well he wants to be in there too. Even if someone isn't in the shower he wants to be in there.

This is a picture of him in the morning while I'm getting ready... begging to be let in the shower. Usually he just sits in front of the shower until you let him in. Silly dog.

1-Where did you meet?
At his friend Davids house. My best friend Jessica told me we had to go over to this house, there's like a 30:1 ratio! I wasn't really in the mood but very glad I went! Jon was the first guy that caught my eye and I didn't need that 30:1... the 1 is just fine for me!

2-How long did you date before you were married?
Year and a Half

3-How long have you been married?
Almost 9 months! Seems like just yesterday, but then again seems like we've been together for forever!

4-What does he do that surprises you?

He shows his love all the time by doing little thing. The dishwasher is always emptied, I think I've maybe done laundry 3 times since we've been married (seriously).

5-What is his best feature?
Theres nothing my Jonathan can't do. I love that I don't have to call a handyman; he can figure anything out. Which is also his downfall, he wont stop til he figure it out =)

6-What is your favorite quality of his?

He always looks at the good in people. No matter how crazy the person is he always finds a good

quality in them and acts on that.

8-What is his favorite food?

Ive learned the hard way (my wedding shower) that Jon really doesn't have favorites. If he's in the mood for a sandwich then sandwiches are his favorite. Along with mexican, sushi, fruit snacks you name it.

Snowboarding.

10-What was your favorite date?

Does doing to disneyworld together count as a date?? cause that was SUPER FUN!

11-What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?

Cuddle! We love the cuddling!!

Milo is pretty much a child.

13-What are his hidden talents?

He's very good at pretending to play the piano =) no but he is amazing at building things. Houses/waterfalls/y ou name it he can make it! He's also very good at snowboarding although he wont admit it. He's a VERY smart cookie with getting his bachelors degree when he was 21 with a 3.7 GPA. I just adore that boy!

Milo

My wonderful brother Chris made this darling slide show of Milo meeting my family dog Copper.
SOOO CUTE! I adore this dog!! and Yes he's sleeping at night! and Yes he is going to the bathroom at night; sort of lol. He's making progress. And the cute thing loves taking showers! If one of us is in the shower oh he has to be in there with us! He's a fun one alright. I love watching Jon with him. They are best friends and you can really see how great of a dad Jon is going to be!!!

New family member!

On Friday Jon and I picked up our cute little puppy Milo! He's almost 8 weeks old and definitely has a lot of energy! I love him to death however the peeing and pooping inside is not a plus. He was going outside pretty good until it snowed and now it is just way too cold for him to go outside. But he knows he shouldn't go inside so he's just miserable. Any suggestions? At least he doesn't have dagger claws anymore. We filled them =) But I'm definitely thinking no babies for a long time. This puppy is exhausting! Jon and I hardly have any time for eachother because we are running around after Milo. I just wanna snuggle :( Then he just cries all night and we get no sleep. I've been sleeping in the laundry room for him for a couple hours each night with him and then Jon will get up in the middle of the night too. Last night he only slept for an hour! It will get better right?

Celebrate? or Obliterate

Last night had to have been one of the craziest/awkward eating experiences ever! I decided it was time to celebrate after I was put under new management yesterday, something I was praying for for 9 months! Anyways I call up my cousins and see if they would like to go to my favorite restaurant, Chilies, for a little celebration for muah. We ended up going to the one in Bounitful because it was closer to them. We were seated right away so it started off good. Then things got a little crazy. Don't know if it was our waiters first day on the job or what but everything just started to go wrong. He took our drink orders ( I requested a Strawberry lemonade, pretty much the only reason I went to Chilies; Lemonade and Chips and Salsa) and after 2 minutes had to come back and ask us again what we were having. A little later he came by with 4 waters and no lemons, which Ashley had requested. We said uh can we have some lemons? oo yeah. Sorry we only have 3 left in the whole resturant. wow its only 9 oclock and no more lemons??? this is going to be a long dinner! by then things just went down hill. They forgot my Lemonade and I had to constantly remind them. Then when I did get it the cup was dirty! I'm not a picky person but yuck! Then Jon tells us we have to be nice to the waiters becuase if you're mean to them they'll do something to your food. Well the night went out and each thing that went wrong we were getting more and more nervous to bring it up in fear of our food being contaminated. Then Dan got his chicken and it was crispy. Not just a little crisp. More like this chicken dipped itself in charcol. Nervous he asked the waiter for a new sandwhich because it was burnt. "Burnt? really?" the waiter said. you'd have to be blind and not smelling right if you argued. The manager came out and apologized and offered the dinner for free and also a free salad; which we ultimatly didn't receive that either. Not to mention Dan not wanting to eat his newly made chicken sandwhich in fear of contamination.

Overall this was a night of adventure that we were not planning on. Needless to say I am a die hard chilies chips and salsa fan so this will not deter me from going to a chilis again; but I guess the lesson is.... Nothing is good in Bountiful.

It's the Little Things

Its always the little things in life that make you happy; or at least I think so.

• Last night I made dinner for Jon and our cousins (Dan and Ashley) and it made me feel so good that there were no leftovers.. which means they liked my food!
  
  
• On Sunday we were over at Jon's parents house for dinner and his 1 1/2 year old nephew says my name now! He only says about 15 words and "Bre Bre" is one of them! I guess that makes me his favorite Aunt!
  
  
• Thankful for cars that work. Yesterday our neighbor came over asking for a jump; but we couldn't get his car started. How wonderful is it not having to cross my fingers every time I get in my car hoping it will start!
  
  
• Yesterday I went to Circuit City hoping for some good deals (just to save you gas there isn't many) but... I did find the movie Annie for $7! I love that movie! Nothing like old clean movies. But it's been so long it its like a new movie that you just know the words to! Best thing ever!
  
  

Tis the Season

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday; but not because of all the presents but because its a whole month of parties! Our first party started off with the Derrick Family Christmas party which was hosted this year at the Lion House. We also had 2 progressive dinners which our house was a stop for both. First time around was Jim and Karens family which was a little crazy; and ended up with pee on our love sac from one of the little girls. At least it was #1 and not #2! We started at 2:00 and didn't end till 10:30! most of the stops were only drinks and so by 10:30 we were starving!! We learned from the first one and the 2nd was with my mom's family and we sure did not have that problem being hungry. After the first stop at my uncle Max's house I was full! By the time we got to Jessica's for dessert I was stuffed; however she had Razzleberry pie which I could not say no too! I have definitly seen the pounds come this Christmas season and will add to the group of New Year Goals of loosing weight!

Christmas Eve at my parents house was a blast as usual. Ever since we were little we'd always celebrate Christmas Eve with my moms side. We've kept alot of traditions like Sammy the Snowman (we read this book and everytime snow was said you throw Marshmellows at everyone; it used to be tinfoil wrapped up however we quickly learned those can get hard and hurt!) We also had our stocking stuffers where everyone would buy little gifts to give to everyone. Jon and I slept there over night and probably the funniest thing was my family wanting to get in the hot tub in the middle of this huge snow storm at midnight. I wasn't that brave and could only laugh when I heard everyone screaming and saw everyone tried to hide from the strong gusts of wind.

In the morning we opened our presents and got a BBQ from my parents! How thoughtful! Jon and I then went home to open our gifts. It was a good thing we drove the truck because it was a blizzard! Jon gave me this beautiful Jewelry armour! Some people said well I guess Jon now you have to buy her jewerly to put in it... but its already full! I also got the Britney Spears CD! =) and a new jacket and snow pants. Jon got a bunch of tools and also the Rob and Big seasons. He was very surprised by that but we love it! I even got my brother and mom hooked on it!


We then headed to Jons parents house where we had a Christmas Lunch. It was alot of family in a couple weeks but I wouldn't change one bit of it!
