Last week at Sam's club after leaving Jon turned to me and said "Hey where were the samples I wanted one."

Even though I have yet to get one of those samples in his mouth; I have made it come out of his mouth that he wanted one!

Fiddler on the Roof

Due to my parents friends Ray and Diane being unable to go to the play last night; Diane offered Jon and I to go see Fiddler on the Roof at Hale Theater with my parents. I have never been to a play in the round before so that was a fun experience. And Jon had never seen Fiddler on the Roof so that was even more entertaining. I couldn't wait for the "dream" scene. They did a fantastic job on it and Jon was getting pretty into it after that. =) Thanks Ray and Diane for a great night!

Studying

Notice how dying is conveniently put into the word.

Anyways I have been studying like crazy for my Human Anatomy Midterms (lab and lecture) and took a break to watch some Hannah Montana yesterday; yes I admit it I love Hannah Montana. Anyways the episode happened to be on biology.

Sample Sample?

Awhile back I wrote about how Jon HATES getting samples like the ones at costco. Refer to http://jonandbrethorpe.blogspot.com/2009/08/sample-anyone.html for a reminder.


So we were at Sams Club yesterday right before 6:00pm. Apparently for anyone that loves samples this is the best time to go. They were just cleaning up their stations and trying to get rid of their leftovers. I spent like 15 minutes at the shrimp cocktail bar and was loving it! Then I look over at Jon who is literally being followed around by this guy in a goofy apron and white hat begging him to take his frozen yogurt sample. "No thank you" "Come on its Ice Cream! You know you want it" "No I don't! I really really don't!" and this went on for a little bit ending with the guy giving it to Jon and running away. I come up to Jon and he said in a sad voice "I dont want it Bre" hahaa oh you poor poor thing. So I helped out and ate it for him. Poor guy he probably had nightmares last night from it lol.

Mexico

Due to my unfortunate event of tearing my ACL and the swine flu last year; mine and Jon's Mexico trip got postponed... til now! A couple weeks ago we got back from paradise and it was just the vacation we needed! We arrived in Cancun and stayed on an island named Isla Mujeres; for a week get away. Jon's family arrived a couple days before us so we met up with them for the weekend before having a week to ourselves. My sister in law Katie and I were determined to fulfill our lifelong dream of swimming with the dolphins.... and it was just as great as we had hoped for! We got to be pushed on our feet by then and hold onto them for a wild ride! Video is available upon request =) Here are some pictures to keep you warm....

Now we just get to look forward to Hawaii in 3 months =)
